Application and Description
6181Y/6181X to BS 6004 and 6346 cables are designed for surface wiring where there is little risk of mechanical damage and are
suitable for use in electrical installations such as power and lighting.

Solid to BS 6360 class 1 or IEC 60228 class 1; stranding to BS 6360 class 2 or IEC 60228 class 2
1.0mm²2.5mm Class 1 – circular solid
4mm² and above Class 2 – stranded circular or circular compacted
PVC insulation Type TI1 to BS7655 or XLPE(6181X)
PVC sheath Type TM1 or Type 6 to BS7655
